John F. Bean

John F Bean, Jr. "Jack" of Arlington died at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on January 19, 2009. He was 90 years old.
Born in Worcester. He was a longtime Arlington resident. Late WW II Army veteran. Graduate of the College of Holy Cross in 1940, Boston College in 1942 with a master's degree in social work. Jack worked as the former Regional Director of Health, Education, and Welfare for the Commonwealth of MA. He was a active parishoner at St. Agnes' Church and an avid Red Sox fan.
Beloved husband of the late Mary A. (Murphy). Loving father of Margaret of Arlington, David and his wife Marie-Louise of Belmont, Nancy Keefe and her husband Jack of Arlington, and Barbara of Acton. Cherished "Papa" of Andrea, Carolyn, David Jr. and Jacqueline Bean of Belmont, Kathleen, John Jr., and Laura Keefe of Arlington. Dear Brother in law of Philomene Murphy of Concord.
