Sgt. Maj. Robert R. Blanke fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sun., Sept. 21, 2008. Beloved husband of Geraldine 'Gerry' Blanke (nee Langendorf); dear father of Edward (Suzette), Russell (Verla) and William Blanke; dear grandfather of Lee Ann, Phillip, Benjamin, Daniel, Loretta and Jack Blanke; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Interment National Cemetery. Mr. Blanke was a retiree of the United States Army and St. Louis Reserve Center, past Commander American Legion Post 400, Fenton, MO, National Director of Eagle Fleet Travel Club and past Cub Master of Cub Pack 777 St. Paul Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Masses preferred.
