Born on September 9th, 1925 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, John Thomas Ferguson died on Saturday, May 18, 2014 in Roseville, California.
John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lovelle Lassus Ferguson, and is survived by his sons, Brian and Thomas; daughter-in-laws, Paula and Sara; and by his grandchildren, Kristin, James, Jeanne, William, Karen and Amanda; their spouses, Androc and Nicole, and his great-grandchild, Anna.
John served in the U.S Army Pacific Theater, 1st Cavalry Division and helped to liberate the Philippines where he was awarded two Purple Hearts. John was an avid tennis player until late in life, and greatly enjoyed 49er football.
