William L. Osborn

PEDESTRIAN IS KILLED - WILLIAM LOUIS OSBORN, 55-year-old St. Francis farmer, died at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, November 14, 1971, at Mary Immaculate Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in an accident Saturday night. Osborn was struck by a car driven by Thomas Gary Miles, Loretto, while walking along Ky. 527 at the southern limits of St. Francis at 8:45 p.m. Saturday. A native of St. Francis, he was a son of the late William Louis Osborn Sr. and Sarah Florence Thompson Osborn. He was a World War II veteran. Surviving are a son, William Louis Osborn III, California; two brothers, Jim and Noel B. Osborn, Louisville; and five sisters, Mrs. William B. (Rosemary) Peterson, Loretto, Miss Irene Osborn, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Celeste Cope and Mrs. Charles B. (Rebecca) Mattingly, Louisville, and Mrs. Francis (Anna) Carrico of Granger, Ind.
