Joseph Thomas Staudt, 90, of Neosho, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at Angels Grace Hospice.

Joe was born Sept. 16, 1923, in Milwaukee, to Katherine (nee Rupert) and George Staudt. He married Kathleen Griesmer on Oct. 3, 1953, at St. James Catholic Church in Lannon. Joe served in the Army overseas during World War II and went on to work for International Harvester for more than 30 years. He lived in Milwaukee until his 40s and upon relocating, became a very active member at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Neosho. In his retirement, Joe really enjoyed working on his farm.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Kathleen; his caring children, Kent Gregory, Jay Staudt and Michele (Rich) Joseph; cherished grandchildren, Brent, Ryan, Stacy, Joe, Kelsey, Elle, Jacob, Jeremy (Chrisy) and Nicholas; dearest great-grandchildren, Chloe, Emma and Eli; and his special nephew, George Staudt. Joe is further survived by many other dear relatives and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and George; his step-siblings, George, Chris and Theresa; and his daughter-in-law, Christine Staudt.
