William M. Thomas, 81, of Kapolei, a retired U.S. Air Force chief master sergeant who served in World War II, died at home. He was born in Bridgeport, Conn. He is survived by sons William M. Jr. and Douglas R., daughters Kim Ann West and Sandra C.A. Thomas, and four grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Sunday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, South Kukui Street. Call after 6 p.m. Committal services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire.
